Adoption fee $500
Aspen turned 3 in August (2024). She is a very sweet, gentle, and affectionate girl! She was returned to us due to some peeing issues. She didn't like the dog very much, far too rambunctious for her taste, and was peeing all over the new baby's stuff. She did fine with their cat.
Aspen is on daily medication (which she takes very well and is quite inexpensive) because she has kidney damage due to being fed kibble and not drinking enough water. She must be fed wet food (currently on raw and eating well) If she is not fed wet food she gets crystals and uti's which are both painful for her and cause inappropriate peeing.
She would do well in a home without young or very loud/rambunctious children and no dogs. She will do best in a home with no other animals.
She likes to raise her bum when peeing, so needs a tall litter box . She will only use a clumping clay litter, or pretty litter. She is still periodically peeing inappropriately, I'm not sure the cause at this point, likely just mad that she' isn't the only animal in the home. I currently have her in with a couple of my breeding females. She is fine around them, but would definitely prefer to be on her own.
Aspen is up to date on vaccines, is microchipped, and was spayed as a kitten.
